At kaizenprint.co.uk we have 3 different types of calendars that you can choose form: Wall Calendars (Year round and monthly), Desktop Tent Calendars and Desktop Flip View (Month by Month) Calendars. All of these types of Calendars serve a great purpose, and you may very well find that you need all 3 types, for example if you are buying them for your office space. However, you might also be wondering if you need them all, and if not, what type is going to be best for you as an individual or your business as a whole.

Wall Calendars for Open Plan/Small Businesses
Firstly we are going to look at our Wall Calendars, in use within Open Plan or Small Businesses. Within Kaizen, we use one of these ourselves day in and day out in our Print Production Department. Within there, we have a team of about 6 people working, and as such it is perfect for them. Throughout the day, they are constantly moving around the production department and as such, can glance at the calendar when they need to. This is one reason it is great for Open Plan Businesses, as the employees can take a look as they move around to something that is front and centre for everyone to see. As well as this, on the back you have the option to include any information that you may require, for example pricing or sizing for products. This is great to have, especially for teams constantly on the move, as they can get it quickly at a glance, when it is required.
In regards to Small Businesses, this is another reason it is a great addition. However aside from this, it is good for them due to the information which can be included on it. For example one good bit to put on them, is the inclusion of everyones holidays. This way all employees can see who is gone when, and know that they may be required to cover during that time.
Included within our wall calendars, are the standard calendar that everyone knows and loves. Similar in many ways to the larger Wall Planners, and doing very much the same job. One advantage they might have to the larger wall planners is the room with which is available to write on certain days, meaning if more than one thing is happening you don’t have to worry.
Desktop Calendars
Perfect for the larger businesses, where everyone has their own desk. It saves a large number of people congregating in one area to look at a Wall Planner, as they will all have their own. As well as this however, our Desktop Calendars allow the inclusion of some information, similar to the Wall Planners, just smaller in size. Good information to put on here would be important phone numbers that the employees might need, both external and internal. From here, they have instant access to all the important information they will need at a moment’s notice.
