Reality stars are undoubtedly some of the most influential figures within society. Love them or hate them, the Kardashian- Jenner family are up there, leading the way in modern pop culture. From hairstyles, outfits, accessories and shoes to opinions, beliefs and purchases, the Kardashian-Jenners dominate society, firmly showcasing the power of reality stars. Extremely proficient in weddings, the Kardashian-Jenners have hosted a number of showstopping marriage celebrations over the years, many of which have instigated enduring stationary trends.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Wedding 2014

In 2014, the impending marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made detectives of us all. Scanning the web for a sneak peek at the big day, from dresses to guest lists, to the all-important wedding stationery.

The anticipation was unmatched and the predictions primed and polished. With Kim’s polished persona and Kayne’s fashion forward focus, the expectations were high.

Surprisingly, Kimye shocked us all with a simplistic wedding invitation, showcasing a premium grey base colour with basic font and gold lettering. This uncomplicated stationary gathered mixed opinions with some referring to it as ‘classy’ and others ‘boring’.

Divided opinions aside, the invitations represented the Kimye aesthetic. Neutral, premium and minimalistic. Features that went on to dominate throughout their marriage; in their home, their wardrobe and their business ventures.

Project your Personality through your Wedding Stationary

Wedding stationary is meant to be personal. From the design, to the layout to the information that you include, it is important to remain true to your vision.

It is obviously vital to include relevant information for guests, letting them know key dates and details. Yet, everything else, including the design and delivery is totally subjective and can be used to set the tone of your wedding celebration, showcasing your theme and building excitement and anticipation amongst guests.

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian Wedding 2011

A poignant moment in Kardashian history, the wedding between Kim Kardashian and basketball superstar Kris Humphries took place in 2011. Although a misfortunate marriage, the wedding details were the talk of the town (for even longer than the marriage itself).

In a no expenses spared celebration, Kim and Kris had their wedding stationary designed by Lehr & Black, a celebrity printing service in Los Angeles. The wedding invitations, which were sneakily shared to the internet, donned a unique feature, guaranteed to catch attention.

The invitations were printed in a traditional white, with a premium black boarder and a fairy-tale font. Uniquely, presented in a personalized box, the wedding invitations were accompanied with a matching information and RSVP card.

Again, Miss Kardashian shaped a carefully curated wedding stationary kit for her big day, matching her designs to her theme. Although these designs were created a long time ago (2011), the invites remain classy and stunning to this day.

Timeless Stationary Steals the Show

Trends come and go. We all get sucked into the societal approval of products, designs and themes. This is no different when it comes to wedding planning. Yet, if implemented correctly, you can ensure your theme never goes out of style.

Simplistic, timeless and minimalistic wedding stationary is always a huge hit with bride and grooms. Hoping to swerve the micro-trends within society, couples try to align their vision to timeless and enduring designs. Doing this will help avoid the all too familiar ‘what was I thinking?’ a few years down the line.

Kravis: Our Punk Rock Predictions

When we think couple of the year, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are certainly up there. The couple sparked worldwide excitement in October 2021 when the Blink 182 drummer proposed to Kourtney in California.

Since their star-studded wedding, we have been scanning socials to get a glimpse at their lavish Italian wedding. Unfortunately, the wedding stationary has thus far remained under wraps. Yet, this has not stopped our creative minds from predicating the prints.

Kravis‘ are known for their punk persona, donning black regularly. With this in mind, we anticipate there was a dark display of details to invite guests, showcase their star-studded seating plan and present their order of service. Whether our predictions will reign true remains to be seen.
