All eyes on the table plan

Organising where guests sit at your wedding can be one of the most stressful parts of the entire day. From making sure you do not offend anyone, to guaranteeing everyone has a lovely day, the pressure is on. Yet, the positives massively outweigh the negatives.

A table plan ensures that all wedding guests know exactly where they are sitting when they arrive at the venue. This ensures you are not bothered with endless queries and chaos is kept to a minimum. Absence of a table plan would result in a tense atmosphere amongst guests, all keen to get their seat of choice.

Creating a table plan also ensures you have full control of the layout of your wedding reception. Whether you want to sit people together, or indeed separate, this allows for this and takes the stress off on the big day itself.

Types of table plan

Here at Kaizen Weddings, we can help you with everything. We know it can be a stressful time and that is why we want to help you take a load off and make your experience of choosing your stationery as stress-free as possible.

We have a range of different paper stocks and finishes available for all our wedding stationery, along with a talented team of designers who can create whatever you might have in mind, making it perfect for you no matter the style of budget you have.

When it comes to table plans, we have two options, Mounted and Poster. Both come in a variety of sizes to ensure you get it just right for your wedding.

If you plan to frame your table plan, then the poster option is best. On the other hand, some brides plan to place their wedding table plan on an easel. If this is the case for you, we recommend the mounted option as this will allow it to stand when rested against an easel or wall.

Table plan theme

When designing your table plan, it is recommended that you remain within your chosen theme. As it will be placed at the entrance of your venue, it is likely to be the first thing your guests will see. Set the tone as soon as possible.

Last minute changes

The dreaded last-minute change is not something you want to see… particularly in the lead up to your wedding day, but they happen. Here at Kaizen Weddings, we have enough experience to realise that changes are often inevitable.

Whether you have last minute additions to your guest list or a cancellation due to illness, it is nothing we have not seen before. To accommodate these expected changes, we offer a 2-day lead time on our table plan printing.

Table plan design

Lucky for you, the team at Kaizen Weddings are on hand with our internal design studio. Wedding Table Plans are a focal point at any wedding. Usually featured at the entrance, many guests make a be-line for it to see where they are sitting.

Table plans at Kaizen Weddings

We offer a variety of sizes for printing, with a2, a1 and a0 being the most common for couples. When finalising the design, it is important to ensure it is clearly laid out and the format is consistent.

We can carry out two main types of table plan printing, the most popular is the poster style table plan. Printed on a 160GSM Matt coated paper. This high-quality bright white paper stock is used exclusively for all our wedding table plans printed, as it provides excellent colour replication and fine text printing which is perfect for small font sizes like those presented on a table plan.

The other main option we provide is that of a mounted table plan. Again, in common sizes such as a2, a1 and a0, these table plans are extremely popular and provide a whole new opportunity for presenting a seating plan to your guests. Printed on your choice of gloss or matt vinyl, the print is applied to a 3mm Foamex panel, which provides a rigid high quality finished product.
