Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk

Job Description

Due to expansion we are looking for a full time Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about accounts and has accounts experience. It is essential that you have the ability to multi task, have an attention to detail and have the confidence to be diplomatic when required. You must also have excellent computer skills including Excel (Vlookup, & Pivot Tables), Xero and VAT knowledge.

What will the role involve?

The office is busy, and no two days are the same. Therefore, you must be able to manage your own workload and prioritise. Most of the time you must be able to work on your own initiative, whilst supported by a team. You will perform a variety of accounting support tasks including:

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Dealing with supplier enquiries including via email, telephone and by post.
  • Issuing client statements
  • Dealing with customer account queries via email & telephone.
  • Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
  • Purchase ledger duties, match batch and coding of invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Sales ledger duties
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing supplier payment runs
  • Making debtor calls
  • The production of cashflows and budgets
  • Aged debt control
  • Periodic reports
  • Meets cashflow targets
  • Ad hoc finance administration

The digital printing business was founded in 2009 by brothers Connor McAuley and Martin McAuley. In the past ten years, we have grown to a team of 36 and have recently moved to a new 5,000 sq ft base in Jennymount Business Park off York Road.

We work across the island of Ireland for prestigious clients such as Boojum, Charles Hurst, Limelight, Punchestown Racecourse, to name but a few.
