An autoresponder answers your emails when you’re unable to. These should be used when you’ll be away from your desk for extended periods, so that people are aware who to contact in your absence, or when to expect a response. Remember prompt emails = sales. When on annual leave, an auto responder should direct clients to the appropriate department where they will receive assistance in your absence. This ensures orders, sales and campaigns are monitored while you are off sipping margaritas.
