Wedding Checklist

Honestly, we are first and last on the list of things a bride has to organise when planning her wedding. This puts us in a great position to advise on deadlines and lead-times, because in reality, you don’t want to be too late with your order of service or table plan when the wedding day is looming.

Wedding Invitations

The first element of business is of course the wedding invites and most importantly, the save the date cards. This is especially important if you are planning summer wedding or one during a holiday period. Then it’s time for the invites. Usually these are sent out 8-12 months in advance, though we’ve heard of as little as a few weeks. Clearly they were hoping a few family members had already made other plans.

Closer to the wedding we work on the orders of service, the table numbers/names and ultimately the last item on the bill (excluding thank you cards) the Table plan. We have had brides, grooms and family members picking up table plans right up until the night prior to the wedding. With the actual names only being finalised that afternoon. We fully understand that people can drop off your list or that uncle Jimmy won’t sit next to uncle Paul but we would recommend you give us a 2-3 day period to design and print your wedding table plan.

If we designed your invites also, this could be 1-2 days, as we will probably have the styles already set up for your designs. Remember, this should be one of the best days of your life! Do not stress about your wedding stationery, we do this day in and out.
