French Village, Belfast have been a client for nearly 5 years now and our business relationship all started with the design and print of a set of flyers. Since then, not only have we refreshed their identity with a new logo, but we have also assisted them with marketing their businesses throughout multiple marketplaces all across Northern Ireland. We’ve designed and printed roller banners, countless flyers, business cards and all manner of social media elements for this young and enthusiastic team.

Most recently we were tasked with the website design for their latest business opportunity, French Village Catering. Fully understanding the brand, the values and of course their fantastic offering put in an enviable position. Coupled with our understanding of what works and more importantly, what doesn’t in this market place, we have been able to create an easy to navigate, easy to manage website for the French Village team.
The website frenchvillagecatering.co.uk is primarily focused on targeting the corporate catering Belfast traffic and after only a few months the site is already placed well within the search engines. We primarily build our websites on the wordpress content management platform. While the seo prowess of wordpress is great right off the bat, our understanding and knowledge affords us the opportunity to really supercharge the website from an early stage.
Working with our Ryan and Lizi from our studio, the FrenchVillage team were involved in the design process from the very start of the project. This ensured we understood acutely the opportunities and areas to add real focus within the design. As you can see from the site itself, the image led design presents the service and menus perfectly. Depending on what your event entails, there’s always a menu to suit your needs.
Who are French Village?
The French Village brand is most commonly known across Belfast as a high quality bakery and cafe servicing south Belfasts’ Botanic Avenue for nearly a decade. Prior to that the father of current owners, Amy and Ashley French, Henry opened French Village Boulangerie & Patisserie in 1981 in Stranmillis Village.
Due to their success of their home bakery Henry and son Ashley branched in to Wholesale supplying hand crafted breads, pastries and desserts to cafés, restaurants, hotels and food retailers all across Belfast and the rest of Northern Ireland. Today, French Village are renowned across Belfast as the premiere wholesale bakery for trade customers and in 2014 to keep up with demand, production moved to a purpose built bakehouse in East Belfast.
Recently French Village have opened up a second retail unit in the form of the French Village Patisserie & Brasserie on Belfasts’ Lisburn Road. Launched early 2016, French Village Patisserie & Brasserie under the guidance of Head chef Damian Tumilty, has developed a menu fit for the restaurant focused clientele within the BT9 area. Already it has attained a great reputation for quality food and amazing service.

French Village Catering is the latest venture for Ashley and Amy French. Using their skills, knowledge and experience of both hospitality and wholesale, they have created French Village Catering who’s aim is to bring high quality catering to businesses and individuals hosting events at home, within their office and on location.
