Holiday Inn Express, Belfast recently tasked us with designing and printing a new version of their printed luggage tags. The tags themselves are designed to help with the management of baggage and luggage throughout the hotel and they have been greatly received by both hotel staff and customers alike. We undertake many projects like this on a daily basis, however with each projects having their own opportunities to succeed, we look at these individually to give a bespoke service and product.

In an instance just like this project, we’re able to design a luggage tag within the Holiday Inn Brand guidelines and can print these tags using a specification we know will be suitable for use. After design is approved, the project is sent to our artworking team to give the project the final once-over before printing. Once this is agreed, the printers take over and expertly print the luggage tags using our state of the art printing technology. The final stages of the process include the printed tags being sent to a special forme cutting machine (a Heidelberg platen) to punch the tags to shape.

- Forme punched with bespoke forme, allowing “looping” around luggage handle and perforated ticket to give to client.
