Last Friday, we seen Mary and Michael, who we have been working with since back in February, tie the knot at Lissanoure Castle, Loughgiel.

When we met Mary for her initial brief, she had a clear idea of what she envisioned for her wedding stationery. Michael’s sister had drawn a beautiful pastel watercolour of the church that she was getting married in, using the colour of Mary’s bridesmaid dresses, so we used this as the basis of the design and colour scheme of the invites, RSVPs and direction and accommodation card.

Mary and Michael choose to do a direction and accommodation card like many of our clients, as they had guests coming from all over and felt this would be a useful and practical printed item for their attendees. We created a bespoke map for their guests for this item, which we are finding is an increasingly popular feature that many of our clients are choosing to go for and adds a nice personal touch to your stationery. All this wedding stationery was then printed on our beautiful frost white card, which really complimented the pastel colours in the design.

For the wedding day itself, we designed and printed various items for Mary and Michael, including a table plan, place cards, order of services and venue signage. We kept all designs for these items consistent with the invites, with a floral and pastel theme throughout to match Mary’s colour scheme. We also had the challenge of fitting 30 tables onto an A0 table plan, one of our biggest at Kaizen Weddings so far!

It’s been a pleasure working with Mary and Michael; we wish you both all the very best for the future and can’t wait to see the beautiful photos.
