In any business, how you communicate your products and services to your customers have a huge effect on the success of your sales and marketing campaigns. This week we customer called into Kaizen and started discussing the launch of his new venture. This is the third business this entrepreneur has opened and he enquired about the possibility of recommending a design agency to create his new branding. This was a bit of a shock at first, as we have created the very first identity local and concepts of his business ventures. After explaining this error to him we joked as it was another partner he had used our services, but it shows quite clearly that even a current customer with a large business portfolio, may not realise and every service you provide and so this is a timely reminder to engage all your customers with the top down List of the products and services you want to sell.

It is always a recommendation to start the list with those products you want to sell more of as these will always be the most read ,actioned and clicked upon. Being in constant contact with your customer base provides a huge opportunity to listen to their needs and wants. To listen to their problems and find a solution from your business is key and this is something I feel we do extremely well in Kaizen, but as I have pointed out everyone can do better.

Today's action point for your business is to listen to your customers. Find out what is causing them issues within their business and offer completely impartial advice. Remember if they choose to take it on board that is their prerogative but they will always remember you giving them the knowledge that you've gained within your own industry and this builds relationships.
