under promise and over deliver

The quickest way to let a customer down, is to promise something and then let them down at a later stage. Always, under promise and over deliver on all areas of your business and you will see happy customers with repeat business, again and again. If you know a particular product takes four days to manufacture, set your standard turn around time a day later. Then when it arrives a little earlier, you are in the good books, or if for some reason it is delayed by 24 hours, then you haven’t let your customer down. Practice this in all areas of your business and see how it works for you.
